DIPLE P is a lens with the typical DIPLE lens structure; but it can be used outside the DIPLE box, without DIPLE’s stage.
One of the main advantages of DIPLE-P compared to other lenses for smartphone of similar magnification (usually claimed >100x) is its accurate focus tuning. Indeed, with many other lenses firmly connected to the phone you have a “free-hand focusing”. So, the shooting process with DIPLE-P is significantly easier and more accurate, when the subject to observe is on a flat surface.
Thanks to a focal length of approximately 10 mm, DIPLE P allows you to observe details of paper, jewelry, coins, small insects, fabrics, plankton, and other small subjects with a truly high level of detail… Taking the lens with you, everywhere!
With good environmental lighting, there’s no need of an extra light source; therefore, no power supply is strictly required. A portable flashlight is provided within the kit (powered with an AAA battery, not included), for the use in dark conditions, or for testing the sample under different lighting conditions.
