Internal box made of rigid plastic that supports the stage and the phone, during the use. thanks to its lateral apertures, the user can connect torch holders to it and/or send the light toward the sample from an external torch/flashlight.

Apertures on its sides allow the user to connect the torch holders to the box and to send the light from the external torch toward the sample. The torch holder can be used to keep the flashlight to illuminate the sample from one side when the system is used in dark-field or in reflected light mode; otherwise, it can keep the flashlight that send the light through the largest aperture toward the reflective prism placed under the stage, for bright-field or polarized light microscopy.
